Colin Jost shows off his toned arms while surfing in the Hamptons… after admitting his wedding date with Scarlett Johansson remains in limbo amid COVID-19 pandemic

Last month he told Andy Cohen that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic means his wedding date to fiancée Scarlett Johansson is still in limbo.

So Colin spent the waiting time wisely on Tuesday, heading out for an early surfing session in the Hamptons.

The Saturday Night Live star, 38, showed off his gym-honed arms as he cut through the surf while wearing a white T-shirt and board shorts.

The comedian is regularly seen taking to his board out into the water around the New York summer colony amid the ongoing coronavirus quarantine period.

However, uncertainty about the duration of the pandemic has affected Colin’s personal life.

The Weekend Update anchor talked with Andy Cohen Live last month about the nuptials, as the celebrity couple had to push back their wedding amid the COVID-19 shutdown.

Cohen asked Jost if the coronavirus would have any impact on the way he the A-list actress (who got engaged in May of 2019) tied the knot.

‘Of course, because we don’t know what’s even legally allowed, right?’ Jost said.

The New York City native referenced safety guidelines that warn against large groups of people from gathering in an effort to quell the spread of the pandemic.

‘This is not the time to get all your elderly, at-risk relatives together in one big group,’ the Weekend Update anchor said. ‘I don’t know when that moment will be.’

Jost noted the chaotic times, noting that the NBC staple he works on remains working through ongoing issues.

‘We don’t know if we can do a live show for SNL yet, let alone have a wedding where the audience is elders,’ he said.

Jost said things were unclear of how the show would be ran for the upcoming fall season, adding that much depends on the health landscape in the Big Apple, where the program is filmed.

‘We don’t know – part of it is what the New York State guidelines are and what the rates of infection are at that point,’ he said. ‘Of course we’d all love to be in the studio, have an audience, do it as close to normal as possible, but I don’t know which stage we’ll be in and what’s feasible’.

In his new book A Very Punchable Face: A Memoir, Jost recalled how Johansson initially struck him as ‘intimidatingly sophisticated’ when the first crossed paths on the set of SNL in 2006 when she was hosting and he was writing.

‘I remember her being beautiful, smart, sweet, and intimidatingly sophisticated,’ Jost wrote, hailing the A-list actress for having ‘a grace and a smile that I’ve still never seen in any other human.’
