Inside Rochelle and Marvin Humes incredible new playroom for their children

They are expecting their third child, a baby boy, this autumn.

And Rochelle and Marvin Humes have made sure their new house is ready for another little one, showing off their incredible new playroom.

Posting on their house’s Instagram account, the couple revealed they enlisted the Style Sisters to help them makeover the huge room, treating their daughters Alaia-Mai, six, and Valentina, three, to a stage, cupboards stuffed with toys and a drum kit.

Sharing photos on Tuesday, Rochelle thanked her pals for their hand work in designing and organising the vast room in their new house, which the family moved into last month.

The huge playroom’s floor has been painted a glossy black with a matching back wall, which has been lit by a neon sign declaring: ‘It’s Showtime’

The neon sits above a stage which houses a mini drum kit and microphone, with one photo showing pj-clad Alaia-Mai and Valentina already making music.

A rail of fancy dress outfits can also be seen in the room as well as two circular tables with heart-adorned chairs, perfect for arts and crafts.

A vast red sofa, wooden slide and mini shop also fill the room.

The Style Sisters shared a glimpse at another key feature, the art-covered floor to ceiling toy cupboards which house all of the girl’s playthings.

The designers explained that Rochelle amd Marvin were keen for ‘a huge cupboard that housed all the toys so that the room always felt calm and in sync.’

Rochelle proudly shared photos of the completed makeover, writing: ‘Mission Play Complete.’

‘I have been working with my girls @stylesisters for the past few months on a functional space that hides all the toys but most importantly that our babies could have hours of fun and really enjoy themselves.’

‘The girls bought on @bankscarpentry as part of our team and he honestly made our dreams come true I have had drumming since 7am but we are chuffed (ps this isn’t an ad just love for amazing people)’.

Rochelle and Marvin are expecting their baby boy in October, and amid the pregnancy and a global pandemic moved house last month.

Rochelle admitted she managed to avoid the stress of the move though, by working on This Morning.

The pregnant star admitted she felt ‘a bit bad about’ presenting the show as she and husband Marvin were moving home that very day.

When co-host Ore Oduba asked her what she was going to be doing after the show ended, she admitted: ‘Moving house.’

‘I’m sort of not doing it, at the minute I’ve just got a picture of Marvin watching in the background whilst moving boxes going “she’s not doing nothing because she’s going to meet us there at the other end.”

‘So yeah, thanks hubby and mum and everyone that’s doing that without me, I feel a little bit bad about it.’
