Drew Barrymore shares video as she tries Hanacure face mask

Drew Barrymore, 45, is unrecognizable with a Korean face mask on that pulls her lips out: ‘A professional level treatment at home’

Drew Barrymore did not mind having a laugh at her own expense in a funny video posted to her Instagram account on Monday.

The 45-year-old 50 First Dates star could hardly move her face because it was pulled tight thanks to the in-demand Korean Hanacure face mask.

The actress looked surprisingly unfazed, even as her lips jutted out and she had an involuntary surprised look due to the mask drying.

Drew Barrymore, 45, had a laugh on Monday when she posted a hilarious video of her face stretched out to the point that she could barely talk due to a South Korean Hanacure face mask

Drew proved how tight the dried mask was when she tried to simply say, ‘Hanacure,’ and could barely move her lips and face.

She wore a charcoal shirt and had her brunette locks tied back tightly while standing in her bathroom.

The beauty mask gave her skin a brown tone and had started to separate into scales as it dried.

‘#BEAUTYJUNKIEWEEK IS HERE!’ Drew gushed in the caption, conveying more excitement than her face was able to show with the mask on.

‘It just felt right. Let’s get her started with @hanacure because it gets the job done! Intsa facial!!!!!! I swear by it! Slather one on, get tiiiiiiigggghhht, and voila! A professional level treatment at home. Trust!’

Hanacure face masks, which are from South Korea, have been a staple among skin-obsessed celebrities in recent years, though they have also become a popular meme because of how they temporarily make users look elderly while the mask dries.

The brand’s website mentions the ‘intense tightening and compression effect’ of the mask as it dries, and the product claims to lessen wrinkles, improve hyperpigmentation (darkened skin spots) and firm up skin by improving its elasticity.

The face mask starter kit costs $29 on Hanacure’s website and is currently out of stock until late September, though the $110 set with four masks is still available.

Drew previously observed #beautyjunkieweek back in 2017, when she showed off a less comical photo of herself in a Hanacure mask where she described what it’s like to use the product.

‘this is a @hancureeffect mask @thehanacure nuts when you take it off you are 10 years younger. You paint it on with a brush. It starts to dry. It pulls. It gets so tight that it literally pulls your face. See above. But, It makes you look so fresh when you wash it off. And it’s so effective. How fun is that in a package,’ she wrote.
