‘She persecuted herself!’ Rebecca Judd slams Bachelor star and ‘oppressed ranga’ Zoe-Clare McDonald after THAT meltdown

Rebecca Judd has hit out at Bachelor star Zoe-Clare McDonald after the redhead had an epic meltdown on the show over her hair colour.

Speaking on her KIIS FM radio show the 3pm Pick Up on Thursday, the AFL WAG claimed that the 23-year-old brought it on herself.

‘She persecuted herself!’ Bec said with a laugh.

It came after Bec’s co-host Monty Dimond said that ‘no one mentioned her red hair.’

Bec replied: ‘No one, she persecuted herself!’

The Postcards host went on to say that she loves redheads and her father and her step brother and sister have red locks.

‘My dad is a redhead and his children with my step mum, my half brother and half sister, have the most gorgeous, brightest, redest hair you’ve ever seen,’ Bec said.

‘And I’m so partial to a redhead, I find redheads hot!’

She later added: ‘I would love in one of my kids had red hair.’

During Wednesday’s premiere, Zoe-Clare flew into a rage after Areeba Emmanuel, 25, interrupted her discussion with Locky Gilbert.

‘To me, it’s disrespectful. If she wants to act the child, that’s fine,’ she told producers.

For no apparent reason, she came to the conclusion that the other women didn’t like her because of her hair colour.

She continued: ‘I’m the only redhead in the whole entire house… The only colours are blonde or brunette, and then there’s me. I think that’s exactly why Areeba is targeting me. It’s the red hair. It’s just… it’s not appropriate.

‘What’s wrong with a ranga? Yeah. Do you want me to dye my hair every 10 seconds because you don’t like my colour? I’m so sorry, but this is natural, guys. It’s not going anywhere.’

Her tearful monologue confused many viewers because nobody had mentioned the colour of her hair.

Later in the episode, Zoe-Clare apparently became ‘ill’ and was forced to skip the inaugural rose ceremony.

Despite being too unwell to attend, Zoe still received a rose.

The Bachelor Australia continues Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel 10
