Sunrise’s Samantha Armytage cuts a casual figure as she moves out of Bondi pad with Richard Lavender

She announced her engagement to Richard Lavender in June.

And on Saturday, Samantha Armytage appeared ready to start the next exciting chapter of her life, as she moved out of her Bondi home with the businessman’s help.

The Sunrise host, 43, who always appears dressed to the nines in front of the camera, opted for comfort over fashion as she loaded her car up with personal items.

Moving on! On Saturday, Sunrise host Samantha Armytage cut a casual figure as she moved out of her Bondi home with help from fiancé Richard Lavender (both pictured)

The veteran journalist accessorised with a pair of white sneakers with pink stripes, carried a red handbag and protected her eyes from glare with a dark pair of sunglasses.

The Channel Seven star kept her platinum blond locks pulled back in a low ponytail and showed off her natural beauty by appearing makeup-free.

Richard cut a smart casual figure as he supervised the movers and helped his love in a pair of jeans, a grey sweater and a pair of brown leather shoes.

Samantha and Richard got very hands-on during the move, loading smaller items into her nearby car while a team of professionals took care of her larger homewares.

Among Samantha’s precious goods were Persian rugs, silver trays and several port-a-robes which held her stylish wardrobe.

A beige couch and several cane baskets were also carried out of her home, showing she favours a natural colour palette for her interiors.

Samantha placed the three-bedroom property on the market in June, just five days after she shared the happy news of her engagement.

The North Bondi pad was on the market for 12 days before being sold for a price in the ‘early three millions’ following a battle between three potential buyers, reported realestate.com.au.

Samantha – who first purchased the home for $2.15 million in 2014 – put the property on the market on June 25 for $2.8million, leaving her with a tidy profit.

Sam and her fiancé are still owners of separate estates in the New South Wales Southern Highlands.

Richard owns a 40-hectare property in Bowral, while Samantha bought a $2.2million five-bedroom country estate nearby back in 2017.

And after recently cutting her Sunrise schedule down to four days a week from five, she’ll be spending less time in the city and more time at her country property.

She has reportedly traded in the North Bondi house for a smaller rented property in the city, which will act as her base during the week.

Samantha announced her engagement in June to Instagram by sharing two photos of herself posing in the arms of her fiancé, with a diamond ring on her wedding finger.

When she next appeared on Sunrise, she told co-host David ‘Kochie’ Koch that her fiancé had proposed on the spur of the moment ‘weeks ago’ in the paddock of his rural property.
