For many of us this year has been like no other and has caused us to look at life a little differently. Here a selection of photographs showcase the unique perspectives captured during lockdown…
From sweet reunions to empty cities and beautiful landscapes, the UK’s photographers have come together to enter their work into CEWE’s ‘On My Doorstep’ competition.
The competition, which is open for submissions until August 30, invites entrants to share the best of what they’ve seen, created and experienced in their location over the past few months.
Clare Moreton, photo expert at CEWE UK, said: ‘The past few months have been an unusual experience, but with many of us having more time on our hands, there’s been an explosion in photography as people look to document their experiences.
‘It’s fantastic to see so many wonderful entrants celebrating our “On my doorstep” theme and bringing to life the unique experiences we’ve all shared over the past few months.
‘We’re still looking for entrants so we’d encourage everyone to share your best photos and the things you’ve seen, heard and experienced over the last few months – chances are your entry is already on your camera roll!’
Five winners will be entered into the CEWE Photo Award 2021, the world’s largest photo competition and win £50 worth of photography equipment.
