Former Bachelorette Georgia Love BEGS Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews to reopen beauty salons

Georgia Love has admitted she’s been struggling with Melbourne‘s harsh stage four lockdown.

In a post on Twitter on Thursday, the 31-year-old former Bachelorette confessed she was desperate for beauty salons to reopen in Victoria.

Sharing a close-up photo of the lower half of her face, Georgia revealed she’d burnt herself during a DIY waxing misadventure.

Tagging Victoria’s Premier Daniel Andrews in the post, the TV journalist begged the 48-year-old politician to ‘reopen beauty salons ASAP’.  

‘Hello @DanielAndrewsMP could you please reopen beauty salons ASAP so I don’t have to try to wax my own mo and rip half the skin off my face again please thank yooooou,’ she wrote.

In the photo, the skin around Georgia’s mouth appears red raw, with her upper lip bearing the brunt of it.

Despite the mishap though, Georgia has managed to maintain her sense of humour amid lockdown.

Earlier this month, she shared a photo of herself standing in front of a suburban transmission tower, a tiger-print mask covering half her face.

‘What travel ban? I [love heart] Paris,’ she captioned the unassuming photo.

Georgia also recently shared a glamorous selfie of herself from before the pandemic, with her hair styled in loose waves and heavy makeup.  

‘Just a reminder of what I looked like before lockdown. Not so much for you guys TBH, I just needed to see it for myself,’ she wrote.
