A north London studio flat with a washing machine and toilet underneath its cabin bed has shocked Twitter users after going up for rent at a whopping £754 a month.

The flat, which is listed on Zoopla by Miki Property, boasts a kitchenette, shower, toilet, washing machine, sofa and bed all in one cosy room.

The listing was spotted by Twitter user Korejay who joked ‘This must be some kind of human rights violation’, while others compared it to a prison. However, others thought it was a ‘clever use of space.

It’s description reads: ‘Great studio flat, mezzanine sleeping area, moments from Mornington Crescent station, kitchenette, own washing machine, shower and toilet.

‘This is the type of thing I would build in Minecraft,’ said one. 

‘Thing is there’s gonna be some idiot who pays it,’ added another.

‘For almost £800? Damn my rent looking nice right about now,’ wrote a third.

‘Some prisons are more accommodating than this… and £754 cheaper,’ a fourth said. 

‘This looks like a Sims flat,’ one Twitter user added.

‘It’s actually quite impressive how you can have a whole house in one room,” joked another.

‘I’m sorry do that say £754? For a jail cell? They need to lower that to £200. And that’s being generous,’ commented another.
