Machine Gun Kelly breaks his silence on starring opposite Avatar actor Sam Worthington in new film The Last Son of Isaac LeMay
Rapper Machine Gun Kelly, real name Colson Baker, is set to star alongside Sam Worthington in the upcoming western, The Last Son of Isaac LeMay.
And the 30-year-old confirmed to The Sunday Telegraph this week that he will fly out in October in order to star alongside the acclaimed Avatar actor.
‘I can’t wait, I’m stoked. I actually just talked to him [Sam] the other day about it. I leave in October to play a full-on psycho cowboy,’ he told the publication.

‘It’s so sick I get to do this in film or music videos.’
Machine Gun Kelly has been acting in TV shows and short films since 2014, but in the past two years have secured larger scale roles.
Elsewhere in the interview, Machine Gun Kelly spoke about his new album, Tickets to My Downfall, which sees a shift in his music style towards emo punk rock.
The album has already spawned hit, My Ex’s Best Friend with blackbear and Bloody Valentine with each of them having nearly 100 million streams.

He said of the album, the first since he started dating Transformers actress Megan Fox, that: ‘This album wasn’t even made for anybody … you know what I mean?’
He continued: ‘I’m already counted out, so I’m just going to go into the studio and make what I make and if it comes out, cool, and if doesn’t, that’s great too.’

The Last Son of Isaac LeMay is already gaining plenty of buzz, with actress Heather Graham, 50, signing on to the project.
According to Deadline, Tim Sutton will direct the film. The script was penned by Greg Johnson.
The film is set in the Sierra Nevada in the late 19th century, and focuses on LeMay, played by Sam Worthington.

He is cursed by a prophecy which sees him hunt down his own children to prevent his murder.
