Posh Spice RETURNS as Victoria Beckham proves the perfect model for new lipstick in sultry selfie

Victoria Beckham proudly declared last week that ‘Posh Is Back!’

The fashion and beauty entrepreneur has named her latest cosmetics range after her Spice Girls persona, Posh Spice, as an ode to the moniker given to her in the 1990s.

And Victoria, 46, proved to be her best spokesmodel in an exclusive new selfie on Tuesday.

Posh Spice RETURNS! Victoria Beckham proved herself the perfect model for her new lipstick line in an exclusive new selfie to ‘celebrate’ her 90s nickname

Sharing the image with MailOnline, Victoria is seen posing with one of her lipsticks, her pout painted in the soft pink shade she’s christened Girl.

She has branded the rest of the range with names such as Pout, Sway, Pose, Pop, and of course, Spice.

Victoria wore her chestnut locks in loose waves for the snap, her features meticulously accentuated in a neutral make-up palette.

The star of the snap was the slick lipstick, highlighting VB’s signature pout.

Victoria – who did not rejoin the Spice Girls when they reformed for a UK tour last summer – has always asserted that she will ‘always be Posh Spice’, despite making the move from performance to fashion.

She said of the new line: ‘I am excited to celebrate Posh with the launch of Posh Lipstick. It is deeply personal for me, because lipstick has always given me confidence when I needed it and extra spice when I already had it.

‘Each shade is inspired by a specific memory, and whilst the moments may have been my own, the energy and emotion is shared by us all.’

The names just stuck: [L-R in 2007] Mel C was dubbed Sporty Spice, Emma Bunton became Baby Spice, Mel B Scary Spice, Victoria Beckham Posh Spice and Geri Halliwell Ginger Spice

Victoria was dubbed Posh Spice by Top Of The Pops journalist Peter Loraine, who bestowed all five Spice Girls with the nicknames they came to be known as globally.

Emma Bunton became Baby Spice, Geri Halliwell was Ginger Spice, Mel C was dubbed Sporty Spice and Mel B named Scary Spice.

The band embraced the names, using them in their mission to champion individuality and Girl Power – a statement Victoria is sure to incorporate into her creative business.

She admitted in a social media statement last week that ‘Posh wouldn’t have been my first choice’ of pseudonym, but that she ‘grew into it on my own terms’.

Being the less-loud of the Spice quintet, Victoria admitted it helped her find her ‘style,  voice and confidence’ and that it ‘changed the course of my life’.

Of the product, she said: ‘I just love the way a polished lip completes a look. A lipstick collection was on the agenda. I knew that I wanted something with a soft, buttery texture that looks great with just one swipe.

‘Posh is luxe on your lips!’
