Hailee Steinfeld recently graced fans with a first glimpse at season two of her Apple TV+ comedy series Dickinson.

And the Academy Award has plenty to celebrate, with some more big news about the hilarious show.

Her witty series about Emily Dickinson was renewed for a third season Thursday, as the streaming platform dropped the teaser for season two, which doesn’t even premiered until January 8.

The 23-year-old portrays the titular 19th century American poet in the coming-of-age series, which features a contemporary comedic tone.

It explores the societal constructs of gender and family at the time, from the perspective of the rebellious young writer. 

She stars alongside Jane Krakowski, Toby Huss, Anna Baryshnikov, Ella Hunt and Adrian Blake Enscoe in the show, which has also featured appearances from Wiz Khalifa and John Mulaney.

Dickinson premiered back in November of 2019, when Apple launched their highly-anticipated streaming platform.

The early season three renewal should come as no surprise, as season two was ordered last October, before the show even premiered. 

Steinfeld took to Instagram Thursday with the season two teaser, writing: ‘I’m so excited to bring emily back for another wild ride… @dickinson season 2 premieres JANUARY 8 on the @appletv app!!!’

It features a scene with Emily and a group of friends sitting in a circle around a candle-lit table for what appeared to be a pagan ritual.

The group screams in terror as wind blows through the door, blowing out all the candles, as if a sign from beyond.

Steinfeld recently told Vulture what to expect: ‘In season two, we explore the idea of fame, what it’s like to be famous, how sometimes easy it can be to become famous, and some of the things we do to become famous. 

‘That was something that was interesting for me, as a 23 year old who has definitely… you know, we are part of a world where social media is prominent, and all of the access to fame is at our fingertips.’
