Beaming Kanye West takes North for a swanky meal during their father-daughter London trip

Kanye West beamed as he took his seven-year-old daughter North out for lunch at a swanky Japanese restaurant in London on Saturday.

The rapper, 43, has jetted to the U.K amid his presidential bid and has taken his eldest child, while his wife Kim Kardashian, 39, appears to be staying in the U.S.

Kanye and North’s trip comes just weeks after he had a very public meltdown, where he claimed himself and Kim considered having an abortion when she was pregnant with their daughter, before he got a ‘message from God’.

Kayne treated North to dinner at fancy restaurant Michiko Koshino which serves sushi.

The Stronger hitmaker cut a much more demure figure after rocking his statement presidential merchandise ‘Vote Kanye’ the night prior.

He stepped out in a black pea coat with a camouflage lining and long brown boots.

North, meanwhile, proved she had inherited her father’s love for edgy fashion as she wore leather look trousers, pink crops and a clear rain mac.

Kanye has been using the trip as a further opportunity to promote his presidential bid.

Kanye announced in July he was running for president as an Independent in a self-funded campaign, which is said to have cost him $6.7 million, according to the documents obtained by Business Insider.

Weeks later, Kanye left Kim, 39, and his family alarmed when he revealed they had considered aborting North before he got a ‘message from God’ during an unscripted speech at his first presidential rally at North Charleston’s Exquis Event Center in South Carolina.

‘My screen went black and white. And God said, if you f*** with my vision I f*** with yours,’ he yelled. ‘And I called my girlfriend and said we’re going to have this child.

‘Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into this world, when I did not want to.’

The rapper went on to break down in tears as he shouted: ‘She had the pills in her hand! I almost killed my daughter!’

Kanye also revealed that his father wanted to abort him but his mother Donda ‘saved his life’.

‘Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into this world, when I did not want to,’ he said.

Following his speech, the rapper then went on to launch two Twitter tirades in which he insisted he has been trying to divorce Kim for two years and accused her of ‘trying to lock him up’.

Kanye has been open about his struggle with bipolar disorder and, in 2016, he spent time in hospital after a ‘psychiatric emergency’ that forced him to cancel 21 concert dates and Kim later spoke out in defence of her husband.

She wrote on social media: ‘As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health.

‘But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health. Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behaviour know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor.

‘People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.’

The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians star described Kanye as a ‘brilliant but complicated person’, and said his bipolar disorder has heightened the ‘pressure and isolation’ he already feels as a public figure.

She added: ‘I understand Kanye is subject to criticism because he is a public figure and his actions at times can cause strong opinions and emotions.

‘He is a brilliant but complicated person who, on top of the pressures of being an artist and a Black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder.’

Kanye has failed to make the ballot in most US states and the District of Columbia.

Kanye has made it onto the ballot for 12 states including Kentucky, where he allegedly spent $400k to get the necessary signatures, and in Iowa, after reportedly paying $80k.
