Kanye West confirms upcoming appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast

Kanye West is slated to appear as a guest on an upcoming episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. 

The rapper, 43, confirmed the news in a tweet on Saturday afternoon that included screengrabs from a recent FaceTime call he had with show’s host Joe Rogan, 53.

‘Joe Rogan said it’s cool for me to design the set for our podcast this Friday,’ claimed West.

One of the screengrabs showed Kanye flashing a huge smile, while Joe appeared to be mid-sentence.

Another shot featured a clearer image of Joe listening intently to Kanye as the rapper presented a potential idea for their episode’s set.

Though it is hard to make out due to the image’s scale, Kanye appeared to be showing off an all metal room.

Despite Kanye confidently confirming his upcoming appearance to the Twitter world, Joe has yet to confirm the appearance, himself, on social media.

Kanye’s exciting announcement on Saturday afternoon comes just five days after the rapper publicly pleaded with Rogan to let him appear as a guest on his podcast.

‘Would love to go on Joe Rogan’s podcast LIVE this week,’ began West, who included a clip of Joe talking about him fondly on a past episode.  

‘I have my team trying to get your number Joe I’m in Calabassas Let’s do this my friend.’ 

In the brief clip shared by Kanye, Rogan recalled having a phone call with West that he described as ‘a stream of consciousness that was so intense.’

The Joe Rogan Experience was launched by the beloved comedian in 2009 and gained popularity for its diverse guests, from musicians to controversial political figures.

Rogan, who used to air his podcast via YouTube, is now airing exclusively through Spotify after agreeing to a ‘more than $100 million’ licensing deal with the streaming platform in May.

West’s appearance is sure to be a huge draw for those still debating whether or not to sign up for Spotify to gain access to Rogan’s content.

Kanye was recently the subject of online scrutiny after he accidentally celebrated invalid polling numbers from Kentucky in a video posted to Twitter on Tuesday.  

He showed off polling results which appeared to show him ahead of both incumbent President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the Twitter video.

West, who is running for president as a third-party candidate, chanted ‘Get the West Wing Ready’ while he showed another man the false results.

The tweet was flagged as ‘Manipulated Media’ by Twitter, which also added an explanation as to why it is not true, with an explanation of the numbers provided by a local news site.

Lex 18 news said that a cached link on their website showed test election results, which is what Kanye ended up seeing and then sharing.

The website said that the link was used to post data from the Associated Press news agency during the primaries in June.
