‘I’m not much of a partner… they get sick of me’: Paul Hogan talks candidly about his failed marriages to first wife Noelene Edwards and Crocodile Dundee co-star Linda Kowalski – and admits they ‘just wore out’

Paul Hogan has spoken candidly about his failed marriages to his first wife Noelene Edwards and his Crocodile Dundee co-star Linda Kowalski.

The Australian actor, 81, told The Daily Telegraph on Saturday that both of his respective relationships ‘just wore out’ over the years.

‘I’m not much of a partner. I’m good early on, but after 20 or 30 years or so they get sick of me,’ Paul told the publication.

He added: ‘But you don’t go around explaining what worked and what didn’t, you just get over it.’

Paul, who was once employed as a lifeguard before his acting career, met his first wife Noelene at Granville Olympic swimming pool in Sydney in 1958.

The former couple got married when Paul was 19 and had three children by the time he was 23. But he said he adores being a father, admitting despite having children at a young age, he ‘loved every minute of it.’

Paul and Noelene were together for more than 20 years until they separated and divorced in 1981.

Less than a year later the pair, who have five children together, remarried, however divorced again in 1986 after Paul met and fell in love with his much younger co-star Linda Kozlowski on the set of Crocodile Dundee, which went on to become a box office blockbuster.

It was revealed in 2016 that Paul and Noelene didn’t speak for 17 years following their breakup.

Paul and Linda married in 1990 and later had son Chance but after 23 years, she filed for divorce from the actor in 2013, although they remain amicable.

Linda, 62, moved to Morocco in 2018 after meeting her husband Moulay Hafid Baba.

It was reported in 2017 that Linda and Moulay had tied the knot after the pair were spotted wearing matching gold wedding bands.
