Gwen Stefani does country renditions of her songs Don’t Speak and Hollaback Girl

She has dipped her toe into the country music pool during her relationship with Blake Shelton.

But Gwen Stefani has officially gone country as she did folksy renditions of her hit songs Don’t Speak and Hollaback Girl while visiting the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night.

The No Doubt front woman looked the part as she donned a festive shirt and a beige cowboy hat while playing guitar for her musical performance.

In the parody album promotion, the 51-year-old singer donned a longe sleeve beige western-shirt adorned with embroidered flowers and roses on the sleeve and cuffs.

She placed a full-sized brown guitar over her lap as she played in front of a green-screen showing different country landscapes.

Leaving her platinum blonde hair down, she added a large cowboy hat over top.

Beginning with her 1995 No Doubt hit, Don’t Speak, she added a country-twist to the rock song.

As the background behind her changed from a mountainous region, to a country road with livestock, to a golden sunset she went in to her solo song Hollaback Girl.

The video echoed a cheesy commercial as she was double exposed next to herself in a fading image.

Gwen has been in a relationship with country music superstar Blake Shelton since 2015 and since the couple has collaborated on multiple songs together.

The couple recently moved into a $13m home in Los Angeles together, along with Gwen’s three children she shared with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.

She recently told  People magazine that it’s ‘nonstop creativity’ living with her country star beau and kids.

‘We just moved. It’s exciting,’ Stefani said while on a Zoom call. ‘Yesterday we did Halloween decorating and cookies. It’s nonstop creativity over here.’

She has Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, six, from her marriage to the Bush frontman, which ended in 2016 after 14 years.

The No Doubt singer reportedly wanted to be all moved in before the start of the school year while her children adjust to distant learning because of COVID-19, according to US Weekly.

The couple are gearing up for season 19 of The Voice, which will include new safety measures and go without a studio audience.

Gwen noted that the empty set ‘feels more intimate somehow. I feel like we’re even more relaxed.’

‘There’s so much talent this season, it’s crazy,’ she added. ‘We’re so lucky to be here and watch live music in front of us. I feel so inspired.’

While she didn’t coach season 18, she said: ‘My little brother Todd was the one doing all of the technical stuff. So even though I wasn’t on that season, I felt like I was.’
