Sharon Osbourne revealed on Tuesday’s edition of The Talk that she and her husband were the victims of credit card fraud.

The 68-year-old said on Tuesday’s edition of CBS’s The Talk that she learned the startling discovery as she went to buy a birthday present for her daughter Kelly, who turned 36 on Tuesday.

‘It’s my Kelly’s birthday today, I went out last night to pick up her gift,’ Osbourne said. ‘I give my credit card and they come back and say, “Do you have another credit card? It didn’t go through.”‘

Osbourne continued: ‘I say, “Just try it again,” still didn’t go through [so] I hand them Ozzy’s.’

The plot thickened as she found out that the Crazy Train singer’s credit card also was declined for the same reason.

‘Then, they come back and say, “Do you have another one? It didn’t go through.” I’m like, “What’s going on?”‘

Osbourne told co-hosts Sheryl Underwood, Eve and Carrie Ann Inaba that she contacted her credit card merchant to hash things out amid the curious situation.

‘Someone rang up charges and maxed out Ozzy’s card and my card,’ she said. ‘I called through to the credit card company and they go, “No, no, no, you’re maxed out, so is Ozzy.”‘

Osbourne said that that point, she had sussed out that something shady had occurred.

‘I’m like, “I don’t go to that store, or to that store,”‘ she said.

As her costars commented on the fraud, Underwood noted that the veteran entertainers likely have an ample credit line, adding that, ‘this wasn’t a couple of hundred dollars on a blouse.’

Osborne said she’s been in touch with the credit card company and that investigators are taking a look at the series of charges.

Osborne said she was able to get Kelly her present, as Underwood, who turns 57 on Wednesday, mused about a past joint birthday bash she and Kelly had.
