And Maisie has everything to smile about after performing an impressive Samba on last week’s show with Gorka.

Earlier in the week, Maisie teased fans that week two of Strictly is ‘not ready’ for her as she enjoyed a McDonald’s while on a break from rehearsals.

Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a clip of herself dancing while she sipped on a large drink and told viewers to expect great things from her next performance.

In the hilarious social media post, Maisie wrote: ‘Issa new week, let’s go. Week 2 you’re not even ready for me (Just warming up).’

The soap star cut a casual figure in the video, donning a navy jumper and a large yellow headband. The actress let her locks fall loose down her shoulders in the video as she danced to a grime track.

Maisie impressed the judges on last week’s show, earning an impressive 24 out of 30 for her first dance.

It comes after Strictly Come Dancing bosses are said to be monitoring flirty contestants Maisie and HRVY after their Instagram exchanges sparked concerns they could break COVID-19 guidelines.

The duo are understood to have been warned that they could bring the other cast into risk if they get any closer, as separate couples are ordered to maintain social distancing during filming.

It comes after the pair raised eyebrows when they engaged in a flirty exchange on Instagram, with HRVY also admitting on Saturday he ‘loves’ Maisie.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: ‘Maisie and HRVY are being monitored by the producers after it’s become clear their connection could easily lead into a Strictly romance.

‘They’re both young, single and hot and the thought is that the two of them could bring the other cast into risk if they break the guidelines and get closer.’

Meanwhile the Strictly cast are believed to have secretly named bosses the ‘passion patrol’. A Strictly Come Dancing representative declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
