Justin Timberlake urges his fans to vote with a scene from his wife Jessica Biel’s horror film

Justin Timberlake wasn’t above scaring his fans with the prospect of an even worse 2020 as he encouraged them to vote on Friday.

The 39-year-old singer and actor joined in with his wife Jessica Biel, 38, to share a clip from her spine-tingling 2003 remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre on Instagram to illustrate how frightening the US might be if people don’t vote in the November 3 general election.

They were joined by other celebrities advocating for their fans to go to the polls, including Kaia Gerber, Bella Hadid, April Love Geary, Brie Larson and the cast of New Girl.

Jessica set the ball rolling by posting a scene from late in the horror film in which her character runs into a slaughterhouse while being chased by the terrifying Leatherface.

‘Halloween movies are scary and all — but 2020 IRL is about to get a lot scarier if we don’t get out there and VOTE. Only a few more days!!! Text 3 friends over the next 3 days and make sure they’re all set to get their ballot in,’ she wrote, while adding the flashback Friday hashtag.

Justin later reposted the clip to his Insta Stories while adding praise hands and a lovestruck emoji.

‘What she said,’ he wrote.

The trolls star also included a text post in which he urged people in Minnesota to vote early in person or to deliver their ballots by hand to a drop box or election offices, citing a federal appeals court ruling that ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on election day.

Voting advocates across the nation have begun switching tactics and urging people to return their ballots by hand instead of mailing them in, as the United States Postal Service as said it can no longer guarantee ballots will arrive on time if they’re mailed at this point.

Kaia Gerber was on the same page as Justin and Jessica, and she shared a selfie of her impeccably made-up face behind a black mask with an ‘I Voted’ sticker on it.

The model highlighted her svelte physique in a white ribbed cropped tank top with a black bra and blown-out acid wash jeans.

This was the first national election that the 19-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford was old enough to vote in, so she celebrated casting her ballot in person.

‘i voted for the first time today and it felt really good. i’m so proud to be part of the election, because it’s become so clear how much power young people have to push this country towards progress — as long as we participate,’ she wrote.

‘i don’t want to grow up in a country that is going backwards. the past four years have shown us how much damage can be done when our leadership prioritizes property over people, tolerates racism, and ignores science.

‘if you’re not sure if you want to vote, i ask you to consider who and what will be most affected if you don’t. please vote even if it sounds like a headache. do it with empathy, do it with love, and do it with reason because it matters ❤️,’ she concluded.

Kaia also shared a playful photo of her back in her car after voting with her sticker hanging from her nose, as well as a photo of her cheering outside the polling place next to a selfie spot with an ‘I Voted’ sign.

‘I voted in person today and it was so easy!’ she gushed. ‘socially distanced polls  and no lines or groups of people. You can too!’

Robin Thicke’s wife April Love Geary didn’t let her pregnancy stop her from voting.

She shared a gorgeous photo of herself in a white dress with a plunging neckline as she delicately cradled her tummy.

‘Just poppin in to remind y’all to go out and V O T E,’ she captioned the snap.

She also filmed a short video from her car after exercising her right.

‘Everyone go out and vote,’ she began. ‘Unless you’re voting for Trump. Then go take like a really long nap until the end of next week. But go vote. But not for Trump. Or Kanye.’

Voting had Brie Larson jumping for joy in a post shared to her Instagram.

She wore a gray crop top with two-tone jeans and a colorful bag spelling out vote while jumping in the air by her car.

Voting can be a precarious experience. Turns out some vote by mail ballots don’t show up to your home, like in my case this year!’ she explained.

‘So, what did I do? I put on my mask, placed my voter guide in my handy dandy VOTE purse and drove my ass down to my local polling location to request a ballot and VOTED. It may not be as easy as we want it to be, but even a complicated journey to having your vote counted is a journey worth embarking on,’ she continued.

‘Vote in person if you haven’t yet voted, or drop your mail in ballot at your local ballot box (don’t mail it now as it may not get there on time to be counted!),’ she advised her fans.

‘Your voice matters. Your vote is valid. And I am wishing you all the strength in fighting any battles on your vote 2020 journey! For more resources, visit IWillVote.com and if you run into any problems voting or have questions call 866-OUR-VOTE  #Vote.’

Brie looked as if she was overcome with emotional while wearing her ‘I Voted’ sticker in her car, and she also included a close-up of her hot pink loafers while dancing outside.

Zooey Deschanel, 40, and her former New Girl costars reunited on Friday in a short video posted to her Instagram to remind fans of the series to vote.

The actress lip synced to her theme song for the series, which she originally performed, while her costars Jake Johnson, 42, and Lamorne Morris, 37, put a ring light around her head to mimic the show’s opening credits.

But just as she was about to sing the line, ‘Who’s that girl? It’s Jess,’ her costar Zoe Lister-Jones jumped in front of her to shout, ‘It’s democracy, b***h!’

‘Hey, that’s not how it goes. Also, where’s Schmidt?’ Zooey replied, referencing her costar Max Greenfield, who wasn’t part of the clip.
