She was left on the brink of tears following a hostage challenge on Monday night’s episode of SAS Australia.

During the nail-biting task, Candice Warner was brutally berated by directing staff Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham after she failed to pull her gun’s trigger when faced by an enemy.

While the 35-year-old attempted to explain that the gun’s trigger was faulty, Mark told her ‘not to argue with him’.

Dramatic scenes saw Candice make her way into a hostage room where she struggled to shoot the attacker in front of her.

Mark screamed at her: ‘What the f*** have you just done? What have you not done?’

A frightened Candice explained: ‘There was a gun pointing at me… so I shot!’

Mark retaliated: ‘I couldn’t hear you shoot! You didn’t shoot, did you?’

Candice explained that she was trying to, but Mark cut her off, screaming: ‘Don’t f**** argue with me!’

‘Consequently, I’ll go tell your f**king husband she’s dead! Now disappear.’

Last week, the mother-of-three said that an ‘enormous weight’ has been lifted off her shoulders after she was finally able to address the demons of her past on the series.

She was grilled about her party-girl history and her husband’s cricketing scandals during a tense interrogation on Seven’s military-style show last week.

‘I’ve never felt so stripped bare… to feel that vulnerable on the one hand, and to feel this enormous weight lift from my shoulders,’ she told Woman’s Day magazine on Monday.

She explained she’d been able to ‘grow thick skin’ after years of getting slammed online by trolls.

‘The only time I’ve ever taken offence was the time I was accused of being a bad mother,’ she added. 

‘That cut deep because I know I’m a really good mum and a wonderful wife.’
