SAS Australia’s Firass Dirani ignites feud with Merrick Watts AGAIN as he brands him a SNITCH

He’s the controversial figure who has butted heads with many of his fellow celebrity recruits.

And ‘villain’ Firass Dirani couldn’t resist reigniting his feud with Merrick Watts following Tuesday night’s episode of SAS Australia.

In a post shared to his Instagram Stories, the 36-year-old wrote ‘SNITCH’ over a picture of the comedian, 46, telling Chief Instructor Ant Middleton that he wanted him to be voted out of the Channel Seven show.

Here we go again! ‘Villain’ Firass Dirani couldn’t resist reigniting his feud with Merrick Watts following Tuesday night’s episode of SAS Australia

Merrick was the chosen ‘Duty Recruit’ who was given the difficult task of telling Ant that the group had collectively decided they wanted Firass gone.

However, Firass centred his rage solely on Merrick as he called him out for being a ‘snitch’ on his social media.

Weeks earlier, Firass had called out Merrick for trying to vote him out of the military-style show.

Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Firass said: ‘I don’t have a problem with you, Merrick. I just felt like I was a little singled out and you were trying to baby me’.

Merrick hit back, saying that Firass had, in fact, behaved like a child. ‘Yeah, because I’m a dad, Firass, and you’re a child, that’s why,’ he said bluntly.

Meanwhile, Firass revealed the truth of his relationship with Chief Instructor Ant by leaking a text message exchange between the pair on Tuesday.

The conversation, which the actor published on his Instagram Stories, showed the men discussing Firass’ decision to disappear from the ‘base attack’ challenge that aired on Tuesday night’s episode.

During the challenge, the recruits were put through an emergency evacuation exercise.

When Candice Warner was ‘captured’ by the enemy, Firass secretly decided to return to base camp to rescue her.

While Firass was berated for the snap decision by Directing Staff Jason Fox on the show, the leaked text message exchange shows Ant praising the House Husbands star for his heroic efforts.

Praise where praise is due: When Firass asked Ant whether he was the first ever recruit to ever return to base camp to save a kidnapped cast-mate, Ant replied: 'It's true my friend!'

‘Is it true in 7 seasons, no one has ever come back in ‘Base attack / vantage point test? Where I came back for Candice?’ Firass wrote to Ant.

‘It’s true my friend!’ Ant cheerily texted back.

‘You’re the first… A new age of Thanos (blue gauntlet) [laughing emois]’, he added, referring to the blue glove worn by Firass when he attempted to rescue Candice.

Firass was left red-faced on Tuesday night after his botched attempt at saving Candice – who had been ‘kidnapped’ by the show’s Directing Staff, who were posing as the enemy.

Firass armed himself with a metal rod and went running into the sleeping quarters to free Candice from her captors.

His reckless actions left the show’s DS (directing staff) furious, especially after he poked Ollie Ollerton with the metal rod.

‘Oi! Get that the f**k away from me, you f**king d**khead!’ shouted Ollie.

‘Give me the f**king pole, p***k. What are you doing?’ asked Jason Fox.

Firass explained that he’d come back to save Candice, leaving the DS stunned as they asked where the other recruits were.

‘Right, next time you do something f**king heroic like that, I’d suggest you f**king bring at least two of you. And don’t bring a f**king five-foot picket to a gun fight,’ added Jason.
