A new superhero series is coming down the pike.

Apparently the show will follow her figuring out that she has superpowers and then using them to save the world.

Wonder Girl was introduced to the comics in the 1960s with the alter ego Donna Troy, and in the 1990s she got a new one called Cassie Sandsmark.

Joelle Jones created the character Yara Flor, who will make her comic book debut this coming January as part of the DC Future State series.

The writer of the Wonder Girl show is Dailyn Rodriguez, who in 2018 became co-showrunner of the USA Network show Queen Of The South.

Developed by Joshua John Miller and M.A. Forin, Queen Of The South is based on a telenovela about a Mexican woman who becomes a drug kingpin in Spain.

The American version, which replaces Spain with the United States, appointed Dailyn and Ben Lobato as its new showrunners beginning with season four.

Dailyn will be executive producing Wonder Girl with Greg Berlanti who has helped develop such DC Comics shows as The Flash and Supergirl.
