Elle Macpherson flashed a glimpse of her gym-honed midriff as she visited one of Miami’s upscale open-air shopping mall in Bal Harbour on Tuesday. 

As the 56-year-old Australian supermodel browsed through a number of high-end retailers, she sported a monogrammed face mask with her first name on the front.  

For the retail therapy session, the mother-of-two rocked a pair of white jeans from Chrome Hearts with a beige sweatshirt layered over a cropped white t-shirt.

The beauty, also known as ‘The Body’ for appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue five times in the 1980s, styled her look with sky-high stiletto booties.  

With her trademark blonde tresses in a sleek high ponytail, Macpherson’s stunning gold hoop earrings were on full display and her minimal makeup.

She also slung a large linen tote with an orange strap over her left shoulder, which coordinated with her laid-back ensemble for her solo outing.

Macpherson, who regularly showcases her famous figure, recently revealed the secrets to her age-defying looks in August. 

In an interview with Kiwi Victoria’s Secret model Georgia Fowler, she listed water, exercise, sunshine and laughter among her top tips and tricks for looking her best. 

Elle revealed that she drinks ‘three liters’ of water a day and tries to get in ’20 minutes of sunshine’ to keep up her Vitamin D levels, which support the immune system.

The enterpreneur added that she also takes The Super Elixir greens supplement from her own brand WelleCo ‘daily without fail.’ 

After being dubbed ‘The Body’ by Time magazine in 1989, Elle said the secret to her slim physique is ‘movement.’ 

‘Whatever floats your boat. I love swimming, hiking, surfing and yoga,’ Elle said.

However, Elle admits that she didn’t always have this mindset when it came to her health and her concept of wellness has changed over the years.

‘When I turned 50, I was feeling tired and run down, sleeping sporadically, experiencing brain fog, my skin was dry, dull and uneven, and generally not feeling or looking well,’ she said.   

‘The practices I had been adhering to over the last 30 years no longer worked for me,’ she noted, while previously focusing on exercise and diet, before adopting a more holistic approach to wellness.
