Studio 10 star Tristan MacManus’ wife Tahyna Tozzi confirms she’s pregnant with the pair’s third child… after tragically suffering three miscarriages in four years

Tahyna Tozzi and her Studio 10 star husband Tristan MacManus are expecting their third child together.

The Australian director and actress, 34, revealed the joyous news on Instagram, after the couple tragically suffered three miscarriages in four years.

Alongside a stunning image of herself cradling her blossoming baby bump, the mum-of-two wrote: ‘2020 has certainly been a year of surprises.

‘I’ve been here before and feeling every emotion but most importantly feeling grateful and excited. Welcoming our third baby is one of the many things I hope 2021 to bring.’

The pair are already proud parents to daughter Echo Isolde, four, and son Oisín Lír, one.

The couple only recently addressed their devastating miscarriages in Tahyna’s debut documentary MuM (Misunderstandings of Miscarriage), released on Stan last month, in a bid to help normalise miscarriage and unpack the stigma.

Tahyna told Daily Mail Australia last month that upon reflection, she wished she ‘acknowledged’ Tristan’s ‘pain and grief more’.

‘He was my rock and was incredibly supportive. Looking back, I wish I acknowledged his pain and grief more,’ she said of Tristan, 38.

‘Tristan also experienced a loss and that is one of the themes I wanted to showcase in MuM, that it (miscarriage) can affect partners and family members and we should acknowledge their process.’

MuM includes footage captured of Tahyna’s pregnancy losses from her second miscarriage onwards, and other personal stories from friends including actresses Claire Holt and Teresa Palmer, and adoption advocate Deborra-Lee Furness.

Tahyna hopes the documentary will normalise miscarriage and unpack the stigma.

‘The more women and men that join the conversation about miscarriage, the more we can normalise it and hopefully help families to better cope with their own experience of pregnancy loss,’ she said.
