Disgraced Pete Evans sells THIRD property in a year to stay afloat amid career-ending scandals

Disgraced celebrity chef Pete Evans has offloaded his third property in a year to stay afloat amid his list of career-destroying scandals.

The former My Kitchen Rules judge quietly sold his luxurious North Bondi apartment in August for $1.6 million following just three days on the market.

Pete, 47, pocketed a considerable profit from the sale after purchasing the two-bedroom Ramsgate Avenue abode with his brother Dave back in 1996 for $880,000.

Going, going, gone: Disgraced celebrity chef Pete Evans has sold his third property in a year to stay afloat amid his list of career-destroying scandals

Pete acquired full ownership of the garden apartment in 2013, after falling out with Dave when the former TV star walked away from their now-defunct joint nightclub business, Hugo’s Lounge.

The Bondi apartment was sold by Raine & Horne on August 23 and is described as a ‘relaxing and entertaining indoor-outdoor living with a spacious private garden’ by realestate.com.au.

It boasts polished timber floors, a living room opening into the courtyard, two outdoor rainfall showers and a short footpath to the beach.

In April, the outspoken anti-vaxxer finally sold his five-bedroom Malabar property for $2.76 million after two failed attempts in 2017 and 2019.

Pete bought the property for $1,440,000 in 2014 and made a tidy profit on the home.

In September, he also offloaded his other Malabar property for a whopping $3.5 million.

According to realestate.com.au, the five-bedroom property sold at auction for $166,000 above the reserve of $3.366.

The auction opened at $3 million with three to five parties bidding on it, the publication reported at the time.

Pete now resides in Byron Bay, where his Evolve Health Labs clinic is based.

According to the company’s Instagram account, the clinic offers ‘transformational practices’ such as ‘cold and conscious breath-work’ and ‘cryotherapy’.

It appears that Pete is relying on the significant profit he made from his property sales this year after being dropped by 15 sponsors and companies in two days after posting a neo-Nazi meme to social media over the weekend.

The list so far includes his publisher Pan Macmillan, bookstore Dymocks, BIG W, Coles, kitchenware company Baccarat, Woolworths, House homewares, Target, Kmart, Booktopia, David Jones and Channel 10’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Also severing ties are Readings and Gleebooks bookstores, while Natural Raw C coconut water revealed it had ended its agreement with him, earlier this year.

The majority of these companies shared statements on Monday and Tuesday last week, after Pan Macmillan’s initial decision to cut ties led to a mass exodus.

Pete was set to join the cast of Channel Ten’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – which began filming last week – but the network pulled the plug in response to his latest scandal.

‘Network 10 can confirm that Pete Evans will not be appearing on this season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ a spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia last Tuesday.

According to former Channel 10 executive Rob McKnight, Pete was left ‘furious’ by the last-minute decision.

The celebrity chef has faced significant backlash for sharing the neo-Nazi meme on Facebook last Sunday.

The post was a cartoon of a caterpillar wearing a MAGA cap and a butterfly with the racist Black Sun emblem on its wing – with the suggestion being that neo-Nazism is the natural evolution for Donald Trump supporters.

Pete is an enthusiastic supporter of the president and advocates the baseless claim that Joe Biden only won the 2020 election due to voter fraud.

The Black Sun symbol became infamous after it was introduced by top-ranking Nazi Heinrich Himmler during World War II.

The symbol has since been adopted by numerous neo-Nazi groups, and by Christchurch mosque shooter Brenton Tarrant.

Last Tuesday afternoon, he shared a video to Instagram in which he called the allegations against him ‘garbage’ while cuddling up to one of his horses.

‘Well just when you thought 2020 couldn’t get any more bizarre. The mainstream media have come out and labelled me a racist and a neo-Nazi. The fact that I had to actually google what neo-Nazi meant is pretty telling,’ he said while laughing.

Pete went on: ‘I just want to tell you this once and one time only, it is completely untrue, un-factual and a load of garbage. I could actually say a few more words about it, but I won’t.’

‘Anybody who knows me knows I stand for long term sustainable health for all humanity I don’t think there is anything more I need to say except peace, love to you all,’ he concluded.
