Jeanne, who passed away at the age of 82 following a long battle with dementia on November 7, was known for her outrageous dresses, including one notably made of toast.

The comedienne made use of unique materials for her costumes including feathers, sequins, gold coins, tinsel and most notably her toast dress, which she made for The Mike Walsh show during the 1970s and 1980s.

‘There’s bits of both mum and dad (her interior designer father Barry Little) in them, like a sample of carpet from dad’s business that was used in the bodice of one gown she whipped up,’ Katie said of the frocks.
