Felicity Huffman is returning to her acting career after serving out her prison sentence following her involvement in the 2019 college admissions scandal.
The 57-year-old actress was spotted taking in some fresh air on a hike in Los Angeles with her husband William H. Macy on Monday afternoon.
Felicity and William enjoyed the great outdoors and made sure to wear protective face coverings amid a recent surge in cases of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The Desperate Housewives star layered up on their outdoor adventure and wore a white long-sleeve with a grey hoodie.
She sported a pair of black leggings and light blue trainers, and protected her face from the harsh sun rays with a wide-brim hat.
William wore a lightweight button-down with jeans and wrapped a scarf around his neck while leading the dogs through the park on leashes.
Felicity’s returning to the ABC network with an as-yet untitled new comedy set in the world of minor league baseball.

Deadline reported the new series is ‘inspired by the life of Susan Savage, the owner of the Sacramento River Cats, the Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants.’
The project from Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment is set to star The Peanut Butter Falcon actor Zack Gottsagen, and was written by Switched At Birth executive producer Becky Hartman Edwards.
Most recently, Huffman starred in Ava DuVernay’s limited series When They See Us, which she filmed prior to her 2019 sentencing.

Huffman plead guilty in May 2019 to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud after paying $15,000 for another person to take her daughter’s SAT test.
She served 11 days of a 14-day prison sentence at a low-level Dublin, California prison in October 2019 and was ordered to pay a $30,000 fine in addition to community service.
While Macy was never named in the scandal, she was one of many parents involved in the Operation Varsity Blues scandal, which also involved Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli.
Loughlin is serving a two-month sentence and should be out of prison before Christmas, and Giannulli is expected to be released in April 2021.
