‘Has anyone ever seen any drama unfold at a wedding?’, the mother wrote, ‘I’ve seen a man at a wedding get very drunk and touch up one woman, get punched by the partner and then do something similar to another woman and get punched again. He was a groomsman.’

Plenty of stories unfolded about some unfaithful grooms, one of which turned out to be the father of the bride’s step-sister’s new baby.

Another tried to kiss two of the bride’s family members before announcing he’d been having a long-term affair with a bridesmaid and a third who seemed to be having too much fun on his stag do.

One recalled: ‘Step-sister of the groom decided that her reception speech was the perfect time to disclose the groom was the father of her 8-week-old baby…chaos ensued.’
