Terry Willesee’s rapper son Jesse Sunset gets tested for coronavirus as Sydney’s Covid-19 outbreak spreads
Jesse Willesee, the gold-toothed rapper son of respected journalist Terry Willesee, has been tested for coronavirus.
The 31-year-old, who uses the stage name Jesse Sunset, revealed on Friday that someone living close to him in Sydney’s northern beaches had tested positive.
‘Covid-19 outbreak in Avalon Beach where I’m staying to avoid the coronavirus problems in Hollywood,’ he wrote on Instagram.

‘About to go get tested. Stay safe,’ he added.
Sydney’s Covid-19 outbreak has grown to 28 cases after testing on Thursday identified 10 more cases linked to a cluster on the northern beaches.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has ordered 270,000 residents from the Spit Bridge to Palm Beach to stay at home for at least three days while officials scramble to identify the source although there isn’t an official lockdown in place.
The mystery outbreak was identified on Wednesday afternoon when a couple in their 60s and 70s tested positive after having visited nine venues across the northern beaches instead of self-isolating while awaiting their results.

Jesse’s post comes after he revealed in June he was divorcing his wife, Ashley, 23.
The couple had exchanged vows wearing velour tracksuits in a chapel in Las Vegas less than two years ago.
‘A bit of sad news about my wife and I but we are getting divorced,’ Jesse announced in a video shared to Instagram.

He added: ‘The decision is mutual and I care about her a lot and wish her the best.’
In typical Jesse Sunset fashion, he tried to inject some humour into the situation.
‘I’m letting her keep the BMW and the apartment in West Hollywood… just kidding it was always hers,’ he said.
‘But honestly, I’ll always treasure the memories we made together.’
