SNL alum John Mulaney ‘checks into Pennsylvania rehab for 60 days to battle cocaine and alcohol addiction’

Two-time Emmy winner John Mulaney reportedly checked into a Pennsylvania rehab last weekend for a 60-day stint to battle his cocaine and alcohol addiction.

‘John’s friends and family are happy that he’s finally getting some help and focusing on his health,’ a source told Page Six on Monday.

‘His fans know he’s struggled in the past with sobriety, he has talked about it openly. Unfortunately he has struggled again during the pandemic. He’s on board with his recovery. He’s not fighting against rehab.’

Last year, the 38-year-old comedian told Esquire that he ‘loved cocaine’ and ‘drank for attention’ at a young age.

John is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live where he famously co-created the Weekend Update character of Stefon with Bill Hader.

Mulaney still occasionally writes for the NBC sketch show and he hosted SNL for the fourth time on October 31.
