Inside Christine and Paddy McGuinness’ new home: Couple share a glimpse of Cheshire mansion

Christine McGuinness has given fans a glimpse of her new Cheshire home in a slew of social media snaps.

The mother-of-three, 32, has posted snaps of her new mansions’ sleek decor including a modern stone bathroom and a few personal family touches, after she and husband Paddy relocated with their three children.

Paddy, 47, also shared a glimpse of the challenges that came with moving house so close to the festive season, taking to Instagram to share a snap of his old house surrounded by boxes.

Both Christine and Paddy have posted plenty of snaps of their new house, which boasts a sleek marble staircase and matching floors in the entrance hall.

Despite still being in the midst of unpacking, the couple ensured they were prepared for the festive season by putting up a vibrant Christmas tree covered in blue lights.

Paddy captioned his post: ‘We’ve hardly any furniture, there’s dust and cardboard boxes everywhere but finally we’ve got the tree up!!!! Merry Christmas y’all!’

The bedroom continued with the neutral colour scheme with white walls and fluffy throws on the bed, which Christine showed in a video of her reading to their children Penelope and Leo, both seven, and Felicity, four.

The bathroom also boasted a neutral grey decor with an eye-catching stone sink, which Paddy revealed seemed to be the perfect resting place for his pet cat ‘Milly with a Willie.’

Sharing the snap she penned the caption: ‘Thank you to everyone who has sent their best wishes recently to our new home! 

‘The children have settled very well, and Millie (with a willy) has come with us �� it’s been a big change for everyone but as always my babies have made me super proud with how well they’ve coped.

‘We have still got so much to do to finished it completely and so many boxes to unpack but already this place feels like a very happy home.’

Christine had previously revealed her three children, who have autism, struggled with the idea of moving into a new house.

Ahead of the move she shared snaps of them setting foot in the upstairs rooms for the first time, beaming with pride as she told fans they were finally adjusting to the new setting.

The snaps also showed the home’s enormous garden with marble steps onto the lawn and double doors leading outside.

She wrote: ‘Last visit to the new house before we move in next week! ��

‘Today my superstar trio made the biggest progress opening doors and exploring rooms they wouldn’t go in before.. AND.. all three children ventured upstairs for the very first time ��

‘This is massive for them, they were anxious but they done it and once they saw their new bedrooms it was big smiles all around ��

‘Preparation and familiarity is key to settling my children into our new home, I’m excited to watch them grow up here. As always, I am THE PROUDEST MUMMY.’

The couple, who wed in 2011, are relocating from the spacious rented property that has provided a base throughout lockdown to a bought and paid for family home. 

He wrote: ‘We’ve been renting for nigh on five years and this will be the fourth time we’ve moved in as many years. I never want to tape together another cardboard box ever!!!!

‘On the plus side we’re now packing to finally move into our own house!!!! #moving #newhouse #nomorerenting #furnitureofourown #cantwait #staysafe #sunday #packing #weekend.’ 

The move comes after Christine admitted she would have loved a fourth child, but Paddy underwent a vasectomy in 2019.
