Tayshia Adams plans on being ‘bicoastal’ as she discusses life with fiancé Zac Clark in New York

The Bachelorette‘s Tayshia Adams is accompanying her fiancé Zac Clark on the East Coast as she spends her first holiday season with his family in New York.  

And, according to the newly-engaged couple, the 30-year-old former phlebotomist plans to be bicoastal as she divides her time between her hometown of Orange County, California and his residence in the Big Apple. 

‘She has a one-way ticket to New York,’ Clark, who is an addiction specialist from New Jersey told People. ‘We’re going to get comfortable. And I’m going to date the heck out of her!’

However, on Wednesday’s new episode of Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with, Adams admitted she wouldn’t be giving up her West Coast digs just yet. 

‘I’m going to be bicoastal,’ she told former Bachelorettes Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin. ‘I’m going to keep my place here. But yeah, we’re moving in together!’

As for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, she will be enjoying a ‘East Coast holiday season,’ according to Clark, who is thrilled Adams doesn’t have a ‘return flight.’

Her pending cross-country move has been a dream for some time, according to the reality star, who said she ‘wanted to move to New York last November, but it didn’t work out.’ 

She echoed a similar statement to Good Morning America earlier in the day about being bicoastal and looking ‘forward to spending sometime in New York’ with Clark. 

Ultimately, the couple continue to bond regarding their ‘many similarities regarding’ the future and ‘life goals.’

‘Zac has such a big heart and his line of work is just helping people,’ Adams gushed to People. ‘That’s why I got into the medical field, because I truly do enjoy helping people. If I could help in any part with [the recovery center Clark co-founded Release Recovery], that’s a good partner to have by your side, working together to help others. 

As for their future nuptials, the lovebirds are ‘not rushing,’ revealed Adams, who said ‘it’s an amazing sense of security to know that I’m not going anywhere, and he’s not going anywhere.’

He is also supportive of her wish to have a large family, which would ideally include five children.

The couple got engaged after she sent home runner-up Ben Smith, 30, before the final rose ceremony. 

Mid-season replacement Tayshia and Zac showed instant chemistry after she stepped in for Clare Crawley, 39, who left season 16 early after falling in love and getting engaged to Dale Moss, 32.

On Tuesday night’s episode of The Bachelorette, Clark presented her with a stunning 3.25 carat diamond ring from Neil Lane, which is valued around $80,000.

Tayshia held hands with Zac as she declared her love for him.

‘It’s this wild, wild love that I have tried to come up with so many reasons to not believe. And you have truly just made me believe that there doesn’t need to be flaws and that I deserve a love with a man that won’t run away. And I’m truly looking at my heart, and, yes, it is real, and I feel it too,’ she said. 

Tayshia said she was ready to start a life with him and would do ‘absolutely anything’ to keep the smile on his face.

Zac got emotional as he told Tayshia that his parents noticed the smile on his face that he hasn’t had for years.
