Alan Carr has shared a hilarious snap as he ‘rolled down a ravine’ while walking his dog Bev.

The comedian shared the picture on Instagram on Wednesday as he sat on the grass next to a barbed-wire fence.

The Chatty Man host, 44, sported a casual look, with blue jeans and an orange t-shirt.

He looked startled as he held the matching cap on his head and reached out for his Irish Setter dog.

Explaining the context behind the hilarious snap, he wrote: ‘If 2020 was a photo. Don’t worry I only fell a*** over t** and rolled down a ravine.

‘Thankfully a frenemie was there to take a photo.’

Last month, the comedian shared photos of himself dressed up as the former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on Instagram.

He sported Thatcher’s trademark bouffant, blue suit and pussybow blouse and carried a little handbag as he got into character.

Alan also shared another snap of himself posing on the phone ahead of watching the new series of The Crown, before it was released on Netflix.

He joked the producers should have hired him instead, rather than Gillian Anderson, 52, whose performance has been well received.

Alan said: ‘Super excited to be finally getting to see #thecrownnetflix today and I’ve heard so many good things about @gilliana playing Mrs.Thatcher.

‘But I can’t help feeling the producers missed a trick………’

Earlier this year he revealed he had been on a 1,000 calories per day diet after being inspired by his pal Adele’s incredible seven-stone weight loss.

He brushed off praise from Christine Lampard on Lorraine, after she gushed over a recent selfie he shared to his Instagram page.

Explaining the trick behind his slimline snap, Alan said: ‘Everybody said about my dramatic weight loss but what I did was I sucked my face in and opened the fridge door and took that selfie.’

Despite previously saying he was encouraged by Adele’s weight loss to kickstart his own health journey, Alan suggested during his appearance that he doesn’t get the fuss over it and believes people should focus on her voice.

The funnyman said: ‘She’s always been gorgeous with those eyes and lips. With Adele you sort of miss the point if you’re interested about what size knickers she wears.’

‘It’s her voice, it’s that inspirational voice, if her voice got skinny then I can understand why you’d be interested about it.

‘I’d say – get a Greggs down you!’

Alan drew the attention of his fans when he took to Instagram and shared a snap of himself showing off his chiselled jawline, with many users commenting on his look.

One wrote: ‘How much working out have you been doing, you’re looking great and that’s an inspiration kick up the a**e for me.’

Another said: ‘Looking very slim there Alan’, while another added: ‘Oh my goodness lockdown suits you.
