She ‘quietly’ welcomed her second daughter with husband Jay Rutland in Switzerland in September.

And Tamara Ecclestone, businessman Jay, and their daughters Sophia, six, and Serena, three months, have certainly settled into life as a family of four as she posted a sweet festive image from a Christmas shoot to Instagram on Thursday evening.

The Formula One heiress, 36, appeared in great spirits as she cradled her baby girl in a carriage, before uploading a cute photo of her daughters sharing a kiss.

Socialite Tamara looked radiant in a red dress as she cooed over her young child, while Sophia sat on her 39-year-old father’s lap.

In another photo, doting sibling Sophia planted a kiss on her baby sister’s lips as she rested on her chest.

Later in the evening, the Rutland girls coordinated in matching stiped PJs as they prepared for the big day.

Fifi slept on her personalised pillow which read: ‘When you wake up Fifi, it’s Christmas!’

Model Tamara had confirmed the arrival of her second daughter in October in a sweet post, where she spoke about Sophia’s love for her baby sister.

The reality star wrote on social media: ‘Three weeks ago you completed us baby Serena. Watching the love Fifi has for her baby sister makes me happier and prouder then I could of ever dreamed of.’

Tamara’s delighted father Bernie confirmed the news from his home in Gstaad in the Swiss Alps a week after the birth, telling MailOnline: ‘I’m absolutely thrilled to be a grandfather again.

‘Tamara gave birth to a little girl seven days ago in the same hospital that my son Ace was born in. Mother and baby are doing brilliantly. She’s a beautiful little thing.

‘She has named her Serena and both of them have been already out on the town together around Gstaad.

‘Serena and Ace are very close in age and so will be able to play together when they’re a little older. I’m delighted that Serena is with us at last. I’m getting quite the collection of grandkids!’

Speaking to Hello! magazine last year, the brunette revealed she and Jay were trying for another child.

She said at the time: ‘She’s been talking about how much she wants a sibling, and for the first time I’m open to the idea.

‘She really wants a sister, but certainly not a brother – she’s very girlie and thinks boys are smelly.

‘Having another baby is obviously scary because it would mean a big change, but I’m definitely up for it.’

The happy news comes just months after her father Bernie welcomed his fourth child, a son named Ace, aged 89.
