Abbie Chatfield made a flamboyant debut on Channel 10’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! over the weekend. 

And while many viewers were thrilled to see the former Bachelor star, 26, resurface on screens, others let out a sigh of frustration; accusing her of being ‘annoying’ and overly dramatic.  

Hitting back at her critics on Sunday night, Abbie re-posted a series of negative Tweets before telling the camera: ‘People on Twitter are so mad, they’re like, ‘Get off our screens!”

‘Babe, you trolled me, you made me,’ the sassy blonde added.

Taking a nonchalant approach to the backlash, Abbie later uploaded a post that read: ‘Half of Twitter hates me, half of Twitter loves me. I see you xxx.’   

Despite receiving ‘villain edit’ on The Bachelor, outspoken Abbie has amassed legion of dedicated fans thanks to her popular It’s A Lot podcast and Instagram page.

As soon as she arrived on the set of I’m A Celebrity on Sunday night, Abbie’s rabid army of worshipers came out of the woodwork – with some even saying they’d ‘die’ for their ‘queen’. 

One person Tweeted: ‘I’ve said it thousands of times and I’ll say it again, I love Abbie Chatfield’. 

Another added rather dramatically: ‘I love Abbie Chatfield I’d probably give my life for her’.

Other fans insisted they would boycott the show if the blonde bombshell didn’t win.
