Miley Cyrus wishes sister Noah Cyrus a happy birthday with cute throwback photos of her as a baby

Miley Cyrus, 28, wishes her ‘baby sister’ Noah Cyrus a happy 21st birthday by sharing cute throwback photos

She shared her grief at the loss of her dog Mary Jane the day before.

But Miley Cyrus sounded upbeat and grateful on Friday as she turned her attention to her younger sister Noah Cyrus while celebrating her 21st birthday.

The 28-year-old pop superstar throwback photos from when her sister was just a baby to mark the occasion.

Sister act: Miley Cyrus, 28, wished her little sister Noah a happy 21st birthday on Friday with some sweet throwback photos from just after she was born

Miley bared her gap-toothed smile in the photos, which were taken when she was only seven.

The future actress and singer had baby Noah swaddled in blankets and cradled in her arms as she sat on a sofa that dwarfed her.

She wore an orange, white and black striped sweater with black pants and white trainers, and her new sister had an ‘X’ drawn on her head in red marker.

‘Happy birthday to an icon living @noahcyrus,’ Miley initially captioned the photos.

Later, she came back and added a lengthier message about her baby sister.

‘I love you baby sister turned big sister. The day you were born I never knew that one day the roles would be reversed and you would be the one taking care of me,’ she continued.

‘You were such a rockstar thru the experience of losing Mary Jane. I couldn’t have gotten here without you.

‘You lead me to making the hard but right decisions. You’ll have many more of those choices in your own life & I am here for you every step of the way. ✝️ love you always,’ she wrote.

Miley ended the lengthy caption with some words of wisdom for her sister now that she was legally able to drink alcohol.

‘Happy 21st. Don’t get near as drunk as I did. I practically missed my own party cause I spent the night over the [toilet and vomiting emojis],’ she wrote.

No shame: Miley joked that Noah shouldn't overdo it with the booze on her 21st birthday, but Noah has long been unabashed about her stoner status, like when she whipped out a joint with her father Billy Ray Cyrus at the Grammies in January 2020

Whether or not Noah has been holding off on the booze until her birthday, she’s been unabashed about her marijuana use in recent years.

In January 2020, she shared a photo of herself at the Grammy Awards ceremony with her father Billy Ray Cyrus while she appeared to be holding a joint.

Back in October 2018, she shared a photo of herself with a stunning amount of weed in bags while framing her bong in the photo.

She also shared with Refinery29 that her weed vape pen was a go-to essential for whenever she needs to ‘chill the f*** out.’

Her 2016 single Make Me (Cry) and her 2019 song have both been assigned platinum status by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The singer has released two EPs, 2018’s Good Cry and last year’s The End Of Everything.

She even ventured into acting a bit by voicing the title character in the Studio Ghibli film Ponyo, though she hasn’t had any substantial roles since then.
