Her upcoming projects include the Owen Wilson-starring drama Bliss and the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Eternals.

In an interview with Total Film, the actress spoke about her enthusiasm for the upcoming feature and the excitement she felt in taking on a leading role in the cast.
Hayek stated: ‘The rest of us [Eternals] are like misfits, and we’re all superheroes, and I get to be the leader… It just made me feel like, “Maybe they’re doing something different.” And they are.’
The upcoming feature is helmed by Songs My Brothers Taught Me director Chloe Zhao and features a formidable cast, which includes Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani and Kit Harington.
The film was originally slated to be released in 2020, but the circumstances of the global pandemic caused the film to be pushed back to February of the following year; the project is currently set to debut on November 5th of this year.
