Kimberly Wyatt has revealed how her suffering with cystic acne almost cost her a place in the Pussycat Dolls.
The singer, 38, first joined the girl group in 2003, with the band going on to have huge success and becoming well known for their sizzling routines and racy ensembles.
But in a new interview, Kimberly admitted that she almost didn’t have that taste of fame after feeling under immense pressure to get her skin condition under control.

Speaking to new! magazine, the singer opened up about the ‘pressure’ to look good in the band as well as how her body has changed after becoming a mother of three.
When asked if she felt under pressure to look a certain way, she responded: ‘Massively, massively. I had horrible cystic acne when I first became a Doll and it almost cost me my place in the group!
‘The pressure to get rid of it was intense, but it also caused more stress, which made me break out.’

Kimberly went on to say that as a dancer, it was important for her to establish a ‘good relationship’ with food and fitness.’
The Don’t’ Cha hitmaker went on to add that during her earlier days in the band she had to constantly ‘fight my battles with the way I look’ and keep in certain shape.
However, these days, instead of focusing on her six-pack and waistline, Kimberly says she prefers to concentrate on her body’s ability and being the best Pussycat Doll she can be, adding that ‘stamina’ and ‘flexibility’ is important.
Meanwhile, the star discussed her changing body and accepting her physique after welcoming three children.

Kimberly shares children Willow, six, Maple Lyla, three and one-year-old Ford with husband Max Rogers.
Sharing if she thinks her body has changed much she having kids, she said: ‘Yes, especially after three kids – and I’m growing older. I’m happy to embrace a whole new body and champion that body.’
She added that while she still has ‘pressure’ to have an hourglass shape with ripped abs, she’s ultimately ‘happy’ with ‘who I am’.

Kimberly adds that being happy and content with one’s one body takes ‘bravery’ and ‘practice’.
Meanwhile, Kimberly recently revealed she was told she is ‘too professional’ to be a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Pussycat Dolls star is a trained dancer but bosses turned her down after her bandmate Ashley Roberts’ appearance on the show in 2018 led to accusations of a ‘fix’ as she also had years of dance experience.

Speaking to The Sun, Kimberly said: ‘From any chats that I’ve had, Strictly feel that I’m too professional to be a contestant.
‘So much as I’d love to learn ballroom, my dancing experience holds me back as a contestant.’
Ashley was a clear front-runner during her series and made it to the final with Pasha Kovalev where she was beaten by Stacey Dooley and her partner Kevin Clifton.
