‘I cannot wait to shoot this movie,’ she said in the interview which was released this Thursday – the same day filming started in Doha according to Deadline.

‘I hope that it will allow me to be a bada** CIA agent with the ultimate bada**. There’s no one more bada** than Statham – and I’m coming for Statham. He better watch out. Because I’m going to destroy him, and he’s going to like it,’ she vamped.

Meanwhile she had warm words for Michael Caine whom she will soon be seen acting with in the comedy movie Best Sellers.

She quipped that work with him was to attend the Michael Caine School Of Acting, and he was just as complimentary about her saying: ‘What I admire about Aubrey is her serious professionalism and her humorous and human way of life.’

Her co-stars in the forthcoming movie include Stranger Things star Cary Elwes and the English rapper Bugzy Malone.

It is the fifth movie that Guy and Jason have done together going back to Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels which made them both stars in 1998.

The currently untitled movie is a project for Miramax, 51% of which is held by the Doha-based company beIN Media Group.

Aubrey also got candid about her insecurities about seeing herself act in last year’s drama thriller Black Bear which she also helped produce.

The fact that she does not experience ‘that moment of going, I really, really nailed it that time’ makes it uncomfortable for her to sit through the film.

‘I don’t think I need to produce every movie that I’m in, but there are certain times – and Black Bear is definitely one of them – where I feel like it’s very necessary for me to…help shape the final product of the film and have my opinion really matter,’ said Aubrey, who was also a producer on her films Ingrid Goes West and The Little Hours.

‘It’s very fulfilling to be with a film from beginning to the very end and not just show up as an actor and leave and not feel any control over what the movie is doing.’

Aubrey recently had a supporting role in Hulu’s lesbian romantic comedy Happiest Season and shared what a standout that project was amid her wilder roles.

‘I think it was like a weird revelation for people to go, Oh, she’s not insane or psychotic. It was fun for me to play a character closer to who I am honestly in my real life,’ said Aubrey who in real life is married to filmmaker Jeff Baena.
