Chrissy Teigen gets back to work after defending horseback riding tweet as she strikes a pose inside her old mansion in thigh-high boots

She recently defended herself over a tweet one user found tone-deaf in light of the pandemic.

But Chrissy Teigen set that drama aside as she continued on with her thriving career.

The model, 35, was back to work Monday, shooting some photos at the Beverly Hills mansion she put on the market over the summer.

‘If these walls could talk!’ Chrissy Teigen returned to the multi-million dollar residence Sunday for a stylish home shoot

‘Back at beautiful Janice for a shoot,’ Chrissy wrote with a hint of nostalgia in her caption. ‘I miss this house so much. If these walls could talk!’

Chrissy smiled peacefully as she sat within her beautifully designed living space, which contained arty glass coffee tables, an ornate rug, and wide screen TV.

The model looked fabulous with her blonde locks pulled back and a few loose tendrils hanging delicately beside her face.

She wore an off-the-shoulder white sweater and thigh-high suede boots.

Chrissy and her husband John Legend put their seven bedrooms, seven bathroom home on the market for $23.9million over the summer, and just a few weeks later were met with an agreeable offer by a buyer, putting the home into escrow.

The post comes amid backlash Chrissy received over a tweet she posted about the horseback riding lessons recommended to her by a therapist.

Chrissy defended herself on social media Sunday, saying a tweet she sent about a horse was ‘misinterpreted.’

Chrissy has been taking horseback riding lessons recommended by a therapist, as she and husband John Legend cope with the grief of losing baby son Jack in September, as the child was stillborn as result of a partial placental abruption.

The Sports Illustrated swimsuit alum took to Twitter on Saturday with a picture of a horse she said was named Cosmo relaxing in a stable.

‘My therapist says I need something that I do for just me, as I have absolutely nothing currently lol,’ the Utah-born stunner said. ‘Today begins my journey into the horse world. I hope this dude likes me Weary face he’s so handsome and appears lazy, I love.’

A Twitter user wrote back in response that the celeb’s post appeared to be tone-deaf amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis, which has left many out of work and lacking resources.

‘A lot of people are unemployed and struggling to feed their family in the midst of a pandemic,’ the user wrote. ‘Maybe now isn’t a great time to say you ‘have nothing’ so you bought a horse to entertain yourself.’

The social media savvy stunner responded to the admonishing tweet, saying that that her wording was misleading: ‘A lot of u really misinterpreted this tweet, and I guess that’s on me.’

She explained,’ I didn’t say I have nothing, I said I have nothing I do for just me,’ as the majority of her activities involve Legend and their daughter Luna, four, and son Miles, two.

The Lip Sync Battle personality said that the horseback stemming from ‘a convo with a therapist’ who suggested ‘a hobby … cause [she] lost a baby’ and she’s figuring [herself] out.’

She later acknowledged the family did join her for the horseback riding adventure, and that she did not actually buy the horse.
