The I’m A Celebrity cast held an emergency ‘jungle jury’ on Tuesday after things became heated between Pettifleur Berenger and Colin Fassnidge. 

Real Housewives of Melbourne star Pettifleur was insistent on [wrongfully] accusing the celebrity chef of stealing her towel, despite Colin denying any responsibility.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Gogglebox stars Adam Densten and Symon Lovett revealed more details of the infamous ‘towel-gate’ viewers didn’t see.

Only fairly new to camp at the time, the duo said the court-style scene was taken very seriously by the celebrities.

‘Jungle jury went for like two hours, everyone got up and had their witness statement in the stand,’ Symon said.

He added that AFL star Travis Varcoe even pretended to be the court’s bailiff and opened and closed an imaginary gate for everybody.

‘It’s one of the funniest moments of my life I think, just that whole scene with Dipper as the judge and everyone had their witness accounts – very funny,’ Adam added.

They joked that Jess, who was unintentionally embroiled in the drama, may be embarrassed watching the footage back.

‘I’m guessing Jess is a little sheepish at the moment, not releasing what she had done,’ Symon said.

While viewers know that Pettifleur’s towel was accidentally taken by Dipper after his was mistakenly taken by Jess, Pettifleur still believes Colin stole it.

Pettifleur has continued to treat Colin as if he’s hiding something, and even tried stealing his boots as retaliation on Wednesday night.

Dipper confessed his sins to a select few of his camp mates on Wednesday, but it appears the news hasn’t been shared with Pettifleur.

Meanwhile, Adam and Symon are on a road trip across regional Australia to support towns affected by the devastating bushfires and coronavirus pandemic.

The pair, who have been friends since 2013, have teamed up with Canadian Club and Empty Esky to promote much-needed local travel to local communities.  

‘If you get the change to go on holidays, try go regional, because the people need you to support those towns,’ Adam said.

Symon added: ‘Travelling regionally is the ultimate guilt-free, because you feel good for spending your money there and you also get all this stuff back in return and support regional communities.’
