Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy tried to set the record straight about her alleged brief fling with Jay Cutler following his split from Kristin Cavallari in April.
On Sunday, the 30-year-old reality star shared screenshots that she claimed showed past text messages between herself and the former quarterback, 37, who recently went viral after posting a cozy photo with his estranged wife.
The South Carolina native upped her claims not long after Cavallari’s best friend, Justin Anderson, accused LeCroy of ‘making something out of nothing’ for attention.

‘It looks to me like I’m going to have to drop some receipts. Hate to do that,’ she wrote before posting the screenshots.
In the first message, she appeared to advise him to ‘ask’ her before booking a flight to ‘hang out’ with her.
Meanwhile, the person listed as ‘Jay’ explained he planned on making official plans with her later in the day and told her ‘not stress about it’ as he purchased the plane ticket first because it was the ‘last direct one.’

When Cutler allegedly asked LeCroy if she was available to meet up the next week, she fired back, ‘Ask me or tell me you already booked it.’
He noted: ‘If it doesn’t work out I can change it to some other time.’
While the messages were undated, he later slammed her for allegedly bringing him up after things seemingly ended between them, which he ‘didn’t appreciate.’

‘Why would I do that,’ she asked, to which he replied: ‘It was insinuated and my name was also brought into it.’
‘Jay I’ve done nothing but respect you and your privacy. I respect you and I respect your family and I would never say anything to jeopardize you and your family,’ she texted back.
‘Didn’t seem like that was the case,’ he responded. ‘Maybe it was accidental. I don’t know. No one wants this mess. I appreciate you saying that. I think we can all respect each other and move forward. At the very least. ‘
‘Jay I’ve done nothing but respect you and your privacy. I respect you and I respect your family and I would never say anything to jeopardize you and your family,’ she fired back
Her final message read: ‘I am disgusted by this whole situation. You reached out to me… Your intentions may have not been pure but that may be you projecting. I’ve never said anything about Kristin nor would I. I came into this honestly with good intentions. I want no part of being involved in a payback or drama. But you initiated and pursued. If you weren’t interesting in something real you shouldn’t have.’
Additionally, she explained that she ‘kept her mouth until’ she got ‘called a liar.’
LeCroy also posted a selfie with the father-of-three with the caption, ‘Too bad it didn’t work out.’
Despite posting the screenshots, some social media users were unconvinced and wondered if the messages might have been doctored, while others speculated that messages in between might have been left out.

An insider told People, however, the pair are not back together, despite Cavallari recently calling it quits with comedian Jeff Dye.
‘They are friends and single. They will always have each other’s back no matter what,’ the source dished to the outlet after the selfie went up on their accounts.

Cavallari and Cutler were married in 2013 and welcomed three children into the world together — Camden, eight, Jaxon, six, and Saylor, five.
Although they appear to be co-parenting well together, she moved on romantically and was dating Jeff Dye until recently.
Earlier this month, Cavallari and Dye said: ‘I love you,’ to one another while participating in a Q&A with their fans on Instagram Live.
