She’s been a household name for decades – and has earned herself a reputation as one of television’s hardest working presenters.

But on Monday, Sonia Kruger, 55, was happy to drink in the sun in a sizzling baby blue bikini, ahead of her turn to host Channel Seven’s new show Holey Moley.  

‘Ain’t no Monday blues in this…’ she captioned the scorching poolside picture.

Sizzling Sonia: On Monday, Channel 7 presenter Sonia Kruger, 55, looked sizzling in a bikini photo posted on her Instagram.

In the image, the blonde bombshell donned a sky blue two-piece set, including an off-the-shoulder bikini top with ruffles, from Tash Oakley’s Monday Swimwear. 

The TV star’s stunning photograph quickly racked up more than 4800 likes. 

Fans also swarmed to the post, leaving positive comments about Sonia’s taut physique, with one writing: ‘Wow Sonia what a hot mumma.’

‘Just beautiful! and those legs,’ a second added. While a third gushed: ‘You need to write a book and call it “50 is just a number.”’

Earlier this week, Sonia, who will host Seven’s upcoming mini-golf competition Holey Moley, spoke to New Idea about how she keeps her body summer ready.

‘I try to be consistent and do a workout from my program, Strictly You, every day,’ the mother of one said.

‘Whether it’s one of the dance routines, or an upper or lower body workout, it’s important to stay as active as possible.’

Sonia added that she has a team of professionals who help her stay in shape. 

‘I see a great physio for weight training and conditioning. My advice would be to make a start, and before you know it, 30 minutes of exercise has flown by,’ she said.

Sonia explained that keeping physically fit has mental health benefits, too. 

‘Medical science tells us that exercise and learning new things is as important for our mind as it is for our body. As they say, “Use it or lose it,”‘ she said.

In August last year, Sonia launched her new health and fitness website, Strictly You, where she provides her own health advice.

She shares a range of dances, workouts, recipes and fitness plans on the website.
