SEBASTIAN SHAKESPEARE: Caroline Stanbury kicks off a prenup with her football star fiancé

Who says romance is dead? Having got engaged to a footballer 18 years her junior, Prince Andrew’s pal, Ladies Of London star Caroline Stanbury, is taking no chances second time around.

I can reveal that the 44-year-old, who recently accepted a proposal from the former Real Madrid player, Sergio Carrallo, 26, has asked him for a prenup.

‘We will both have one,’ says reality TV star Caroline, who has an estimated net worth of £20 million.

I can reveal that 44-year-old Caroline Stanbury, who recently accepted a proposal from the former Real Madrid player, Sergio Carrallo, 26, has asked him for a prenup

The mother-of-three got divorced from businessman Cem Habib last year, but insists: ‘Sergio’s not here for the lifestyle or my money.

‘He was a professional soccer player, he has his own money.’

Though she has not disclosed if she had a similar financial arrangement before marrying Cem — worth £36 million — in 2004, she hints her prenup with Sergio could be a prudent business tactic.

‘We’re building so much together in this industry, and in other industries,’ she explains.

‘We’re creating a brand. I love working with him but we do fight. I don’t know what our future looks like but I’m willing to take the chance on what we have right now. Fingers crossed we all get to the end, but you never know.’ The impending nuptials — for which no date has yet been set — have also brought up some other concerns.

‘He does want children,’ adds Caroline, who grew up in Dorset and now lives in Dubai. ‘I’ve been dealing with doctors here. One thing we did do is freeze my eggs so we had the option.

I wanted it to be a choice — if Sergio and I want a baby, it’s our choice. If I can’t have one, it wouldn’t be our choice, and I don’t want him to leave me because we couldn’t have one.

‘I know Sergio and I are not conventional. These are weird circumstances and I hope we make it and open other women’s eyes to not closing the doors on things that you think aren’t perfect or aren’t right for you.’

Be Charles’s charlady

This could be dust, sorry, just the job for a royal fan who’s a dab hand with a mop and a feather duster .

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are advertising for a maid.

The ad on the royal website says the housekeeping assistant at Highgrove in Gloucestershire ‘will be expected to support all operations, including presentation and cleaning rooms, looking after guests and caring for the contents of the house.

You will also play an important role in assisting at private events and be keen to take on new challenges as these arise’. No mention of salary, though.

Iris focuses on her natural beauty . . .

She’s just been unveiled as Dior’s new beauty ambassador, but Jude Law’s daughter Iris admits ditching the war paint has done wonders for her self-confidence.

‘Since lockdown I’ve hardly worn make-up, but I think that’s been quite a beautiful thing for me,’ explains Iris, 20, whose mother is Sadie Frost.

‘Having struggled with acne, I had gotten into a habit of doing my make-up and going to cover my scars or marks.

‘But now I feel like I’m so used to seeing them every day, they’re no longer something I have a complex about.

‘When I start using make-up again, it’s going to be more fun and about experimenting, rather than trying to look like I have perfect skin.’

Whoever would imagine that the future James Bond could once have been found hiding under a cinema seat?

Asked to name his most memorable moments at the movies, 007 star Daniel Craig recalls watching Jaws, ‘hiding under the seat in front of me as Roy Scheider fought that shark’.

And he cried off completely when it came to horror films, recalling that he had been: ‘Not even daring to go into the cinema for Alien or Exorcist.’ Shaken and scared, Mr Bond . . .

Duncan the Dragon and wife No 3 race round Caribbean

Duncan Bannatyne’s wife doesn’t like to scrimp on designer labels — she wore a Gucci swimsuit and held a Hermes bag in this picture posted this week.

The former Dragons’ Den star, who has amassed a £300 million fortune, is currently luxuriating in the Caribbean with his third wife, Nigora, 40, a former dental hygienist originally from Uzbekistan whom he met in a Harley Street clinic.

The couple, who wed in 2017, stayed on St Bart’s, at Eden Rock, the hotel owned by Pippa Middleton’s parents-in-law, Jane and David Matthews, and where the cheapest rooms cost £800-a-night in low season.

Duncan, 71, who has six children from previous marriages, and Nigora, who has a daughter, have now moved on to Antigua.

Bannatyne’s spokeswoman assures me the tycoon isn’t flouting the UK’s lockdown. ‘He’s domiciled in Portugal,’ she tells me.

Mary Berry suggests parents and children who struggle with home-schooling head for the kitchen.

‘All through lockdown, children have been baking like mad,’ says the BBC’s Celebrity Best Home Cook judge.

‘I think it’s something everybody has a go at and it is very rewarding, particularly for children who perhaps haven’t done well at school and find home-schooling difficult.’

Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver don’t have an A-level between them. Food for thought.

Ahead of turning 67 next week, evergreen model Christie Brinkley reveals she defies time by celebrating the same age every year.

‘I’ll be turning 50 for the 17th time. I love birthdays, I just don’t like the numbers, so I ignore them,’ she admits. ‘I never felt as old as the number anyway — until this year.’

Christie, ex-wife of singer Billy Joel and a Sports Illustrated cover star, says: ‘After a break of my right arm and a frozen shoulder, I started to feel old.

So I took action, fixed my hip, got the replacement, and am overjoyed to be able to move my body again.’
