Tina Fey and Amy Poehler virtually reunite to co-host 78th Golden Globe Awards from opposite coasts

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have the kind of comedic chemistry that few can match.

And the best pals/Saturday Night Live alums are preparing to put their timing to the test, from totally different time zones.

They’re reuniting to host this year’s 78th Golden Globe Awards from opposite coasts on February 28, a first for the awards show, as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, NBC and Dick Clark Productions adjust to COVID-19 precautions.

It’s still unclear whether presenters and winners will make in-person appearances or telecast from home, as recent awards shows have done both amid the pandemic.

With two locations, this year’s event has the potential to feature more big names, while letting its co-hosts remain close to home.
