She co-hosted Channel Seven’s Harry’s Practice alongside Dr Chris Brown from 1997 to 2003.

And on Thursday, Dr Katrina Warren delighted fans when she appeared on Channel Nine’s Today show for a rare interview.

The 53-year-old veterinarian, who appears to have hardly aged a day, discussed the rules around restraining pets in cars.

‘It is different because the rules are different in a lot of states and there is not a lot of strict rules,’ she explained.

‘If you search your state most say dogs cannot be on your lap when you are travelling and most of the rules in general say they cannot interfere with your vision.’

She went on to say: ‘But there are hefty fines for if your dog is unsafe. So if your dog does injury itself from flying out a window, then you can get fined.’

During her TV appearance, Katrina made a fashion statement in a green dress and a pair of brown heels.

She styled her brunette hair loosely and opted for a neutral palette of makeup.

Katrina rose to fame after appearing on Channel Ten’s children program Totally Wild in 1994.

She went on to star on Seven’s Harry’s Practice as a resident vet alongside Dr Chris Brown from 1997.

The veterinarian also hosted Beverly Hills Vet in 2003, before starring as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.

In 2008, she presented TV Show Housecat Housecall on Animal Planet in the US.
