Married At First Sight’s new grooms include ‘shy’ guy Patrick and aspiring family man Jason as fans get a sneak peek at them both in a new promo

The cast of Married At First Sight were recently rocked by a COVID-19 scare that sent them into a snap 24-hour lockdown.

But things seem to be on track for the reality TV hit, with the show’s social media account unveiling two of the new grooms on Sunday.

Patrick Dwyer, 28, and Jason Engler showed off their vulnerable sides in videos posted to the MAFS Instagram account.

In his promo, Jason, 35, admitted he didn’t know if he could become a dad despite his desire to do so.

‘I can imagine being a dad, but I’m getting on in years now,’ said the construction estimator.

Jason’s voiceover continued over images of him playing with his young nieces: ‘When I’m with my nieces, it makes me feel wanted, like I’m important to somebody.’
