CNN is giving actor Stanley Tucci more time to explore Italy, renewing his series for a second season.

Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy debuted on Valentine’s Day on CNN, earning 1.52 million viewers, according to Deadline.

The second episode, which aired on Sunday night, improved to 1.64 million viewers in the fast nationals, while coming out on top in the 25-44 demographic.

The series follows the 60-year-old actor as he explores different regions of Italy and their respective culinary scenes.

The first episode followed the actor as he explore the food and drink of Naples and the Amalfi Coast, while the second explored Rome.

The third episode, which airs on Sunday, takes The Witches star to the Bologna region of Italy.

The second season will debut in 2022, though it’s unclear when production may begin.

The new season will follow Tucci as he explores, ‘the culinary delights and cultures of several new regions throughout Italy, one of the world’s most fascinating and beautiful countries,’ according to the network description.

Executive producers for Searching for Italy are Adam Hawkins, Eve Kay, and Stanley Tucci for RAW, Amy Entelis and Lyle Gamm for CNN Original Series.

Tucci himself reacted to the news by sharing Deadline’s headline of the renewal, adding, ‘Can’t wait! I’m starving ….’

The actor also voices Bitsy Bradenham on the Apple TV Plus series Central Park, which was also renewed for a second season, debuting this summer.

He has also signed on to play adventurer Frank Wild in the new AMC series La Fortuna, though it’s unclear when that show will debut.

Tucci will also reprise his role as Dr. Abraham Erskine from the 2011 Marvel movie Captain America: The First Avenger in the new series What If…? later this year.

He will also portray Merlin in The King’s Man, the third installment in the Kingsman movie series, debuting on August 20.  

He also has Jolt, with Kate Beckinsale, Jai Courtney, Bobby Cannavale and Laverne Cox in post-production, and The Man Who Saved Paris in pre-production.
