Mickey Rourke, 68, flashes his tattoos and a smile while narrowly avoiding a wardrobe malfunction during lunch in Beverly Hills

Mickey Rourke was spotted out on Saturday enjoying a laid back lunch in Beverly Hills.

The 68-year-old former boxer turned actor with an ever-changing face flashed his tattoos and a smile while giving some pointers to MMA fighter Mickey Gall.

Putting his rock and roll style on display, his jeans and flannel ensemble seemed to cause the 9 1/2 Weeks star a bit of trouble as she was seen fidgeting with his very low rise pants.

Rourke went super casual on top in a red flannel and grey tank top that showed off his chest tattoos.

His baggy jeans featured embellished detailing and cargo type pockets on the side, with him seemingly in need of a belt.

He was seen making quite a few adjustments as they slipped below his waist, but he looked to be in good spirits as he made his way from his car.

The Wrestler star added more flare to his look with a peacock feather printed head scarf and he kept himself protected in a face mask before dining.

He was seen imparting some wisdom on Gall over pizza before they posed for some photos.

His career in Hollywood has largely declined in recent years but he did snag an Oscar nomination in 2009 for Best Actor in The Wrestler.

Most recently he made a surprise appearance on The Masked Singer in the fall, eliminating himself soon into the competition when he elected to remove his gremlin mask because the costume was too hot.

He told DailyMail.com in 2009, ‘Most of it was to mend the mess of my face after the boxing. I went to the wrong guy to put my face back together.’

Rourke continued, ‘I had my nose broken twice. I had five operations on my nose and one on a smashed cheekbone.

‘I had to have cartilage taken from my ear to rebuild my nose and a couple of operations to scrape out the cartilage because the scar tissue wasn’t healing properly,’ calling it one of the most ‘painful operations’ he’s had.

He has notoriously battled addiction — both drugs and alcohol — in the past and has taken blame for his own career decline over the years.

He told GQ in an interview Mickey said, ‘Screwing up my career was never about drugs or about booze. It was always my attitude. I stupidly said acting wasn’t a job for a real man.

‘I raged at directors, threatened producers, even forgot my agent’s name. I knew it was damaging my career – hanging out with bad people – but stupidly, I thought it would make me less of a hard man if I changed.’

Rourke also has been open about nearly committing suicide at his lowest point saying that if it wasn’t for his devout Catholic faith he would have ‘seen it through in a heartbeat.’

In the fall he wrapped shooting the religious drama Man Of God, cast as a paralyzed man in the Pure Flix/Quality Flix movie about a 19th century Greek Orthodox saint.
