They’ve been patiently waiting to get hitched since their engagement in December. 

And Stacey Solomon couldn’t hold back the tears of joy when her wedding with Joe Swash got confirmed for after lockdown in July. 

‘I’m having a little cry… It actually feels real now,’ the singer, 31, told her Instagram followers on Saturday after she and her fiancé received the happy news.

The emotional post came after Stacey received an email confirmation with the date and time of their much anticipated ceremony. 

‘Just got this email through and I’m having a little cry… Joe defo has “watery eyes” as well… it actually feels real now,’ said the Loose Women panelist. 

She continued:  ‘I can’t believe in a few months I’ll be a Mrs. with all of my boys by my side….

‘Hopefully if all is safe to do so…’ she added with caution.

Joe and Stacey are planning a summer wedding, with the ceremony taking place in July at 2pm. 

And with the green light from the government, Stacey couldn’t wait to get her wedding plans in motion. 

The former X-factor contestant leapt into action and shared footage with fans of her wedding scrap book where she kept all her ideas for the big day.  

The book featured an adorable timeline of the couple’s relationship, from when they first fell in love in 2015 to getting married in 2021. 

Stacey told her followers: ‘I really hope all of you that have been waiting and planning so long now for your special day get the dream day that you deserve this year…And that 2021 is full of all of the love that 2020 missed out on,

‘I just had to get out my scrap book and add some more pages…Time to officially ask my girls to be my bridesmaids,’ the singer wrote.

On Valentine’s Day, Stacey’s husband-to-be Joe Swash aired an adorable message on Loose Women about their upcoming nuptials. 

‘I just wanted to let you know, with Valentine’s coming up, how much I love you… How lucky you make me feel, how much I love our family and how excited I am about you being my wife,’ said Joe as his voice wobbled with emotion.

‘I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, my beautiful, beautiful fiancée,’ he said and blew a kiss at the camera.   

Stacey and Joe have officially been a couple since January 2016 and announced their engagement in December 2020.

The former X Factor star has detailed in the past how Joe staged a romantic Christmas Eve proposal during a walk in the woods with their son Rex, 21 months, and her children from her past relationships.

Stacey is mother to son Zachary with her teen boyfriend Dean Cox and son Leighton with her ex Aaron Barham.

Joe is also a father to son Harry, 13, with his ex Emma Sophocleous.
