This is the shocking moment two men armed with a skateboard and an umbrella attack each other in front of a school’s gates.

Stunned onlookers watched on as the pair traded blows, leaving one of them battered and bloody.

The bizarre incident occurred earlier today in front of Riverston School in Eltham, south London.

Footage shows a motorist quickly pull up at the school’s gates where another man holding a skateboard had just appeared.

The driver gets out of his car and goes to the boot to take out an umbrella before going over the confront the man. It is not known if the pair know each other.

A short argument ensues before the men launch into a fight, using the skateboard and umbrella to strike each other.

This is the shocking moment two men armed with a skateboard and an umbrella attack each other in front of a south London school’s gates.

Thomas Butler, who recorded the footage from his home across the street, said he thought the driver of the car had ‘almost hit the skater’ and things had escalated from there. 

Butler said he soon stopped filming and went to break up the fight. He added that the driver was left battered and bloody from the fight and later drove away.

Police arrived some time later, Butler said.

The Metropolitan Police have been approached for a statement on the incident.
